LNG Commercial Aspects

About This Course

The course provides a general overview of how the overall LNG value chain operates from upstream gas production, through liquefaction, shipping to re-gasification and sales to the final end-users. A special focus is put on the fundamentals of the LNG industry from the commercial standpoint. The course will help learners identify the fundamental drivers and risks when structuring a commercial deal in an LNG project and will address critical risks in contracts along the chain. An analysis of the following elements will be provided: LNG sales and purchase agreements (SPAs), transportation agreements, regasification agreements, and financial structuring with emphasis on financial agreements and risk mitigation.
